Kinman's approach utilizes only a palette knife—a method passed down through three generations of painters, beginning with his grandmother, Florence Sackett.

For over 35 years, Kinman has journeyed across the West, exhibiting in prestigious galleries and shows throughout California, Oregon, and Arizona. He’s also spent decades teaching art to students of every age and ability, including those with special needs.
